A mounted photographic copy of a hand written/calligraphed presentation notice given to Sir Arthur John Dorman and Lady Dorman on the occasion Golden Wedding Anniversary. Given to the couple to accompany gifts presented by the officials, staff and works employees of Dorman Long and Co. Ltd,. North Eastern Steel Co. Ltd., Bell Brothers Ltd., Carlton Iron Co. Ltd. and Sir B Samuelsons Co. Ltd.. Al the named companies were, at this point, part of the Dorman Long group of companies.
The text on the notice tells of Sir Arthur's devotion to the company and the staff and note the esteem and respect in which he is held by the officials, staff and works employees. -
