Most engineering contracts have Civil Engineering 'CE' contract numbers, but some also have four digit contract numbers which begin with a 9. Contracts and their conditions were based upon The Institution of Civil Engineers, The Association of Consulting Engineers and The Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors joint standard contract and were altered to fit the Corporation's needs
