Thomas Lelean, master, and Atwell Hennah, mariner, of the sloop Speedwell, testified that they shipped 11 tons of white salt, duty paid, at Bristol on 30 December, to be carried to Fowey for Elizabeth Sampson, widow, and that, due to stormy weather on the voyage, 23 cwt. of the salt was lost.
Presentment against Marazion for non-repair of highways: discharged.
Mary, wife of John Symons, Richard Symons and Thomas Couch, labourers, all of Cardinham, accused of stealing from Philip Deacon and Thomas Wills: acquitted.
