Letter from William Urwick to Rev. R.J.Davies.

He has enclosed D.'s letter to U's cousin & he is sure he will do his best to see that D.'s wishes are attended to, that the proceeds of the sale of timber are applied to paying off the encumbrances & that no ornamental timber is fallen, & he promises the same for himself. His uncle's will must be followed & the sanction of the court must be obtained to any investment of the proceeds; they must obtain the consent of the Master in Lunacy & he fears he will only allow a sale by auction, but will be asked to permit a sale by private contract. Who would Davies like to make & value the timber. "Mr. Turner no doubt is a good man & I hope he will be a purchaser but some one else should value." The £65 for Marrington Hall is exclusive of the furniture & game & I hear from Butler that Mrs. Forbes will give next year £120 which I told him to ask her for her old taking. Interest of the money for the closet & 2 fields valued by Mr. Griffithes at £17 which she wanted.
