This sub-committee consisted of the Chairmen of the main Committee, that of the Town Planning and Redevelopment Sub-Committee, and the Special Investigation Sub-Committee. It was appointed to carry out a review of the Development Plan for 1961 - 1981, particularly with regard to urban and residential slum clearance and housing schemes, industrial and principal business planning, open spaces, unused sites, allotments, roads and railways, population and overspill areas.
