Appeal of St. Enoder against order of 16 July for removal of John Roberts, wife Joan and sons and dau. John (11), Richard (9), Walter (5), Grace (2), from Ladock to St. Enoder. John Roberts stated on oath that he had worked for Daniel Huddy for one year in the Parish of Ladock at a wage of £4.10s. and had then contracted for a second year at a wage of £5.10s. Following the death of Daniel Huddy during that year he had continued the contract by working for William Huddy of St. Enoder, executor of his former master Daniel: order reversed.

Matthew Turner of South Petherwin, yeo.: acquitted of assault and battery on John Peters, North Hill, yeo.
Grace Werryn of Camborne, spr.: acquitted of stealing apples from William Stickler.

Thomas May of Liskeard, lab., confessed to stealing 151bs. weight of beef, value 2s., from William Parks: public whipping, from the doors of the Town Hall, Bodmin to Carriers lane end and back again.
Treasurer to pay £23.10s.6d. to the widow of George Conner, late keeper of the common gaol, for two quarter's salary due to him at Christmas last and for conveying prisoners.
Treasurer to pay £8.8s. to Charles Treweek for attendance and medicines for the sick in the bridewell.
Treasurer to pay Thomas Eyre, keeper of the bridewell, £5, quarter's salary.
