Description

Informs him they have sent a petition to London to make the River navigable up to Doncaster and assures him they do not intend to recede from the agreement made with him and the rest of the Gentlemen the previous year. The River will certainly be made navigable at some time and believes it can never be effected on terms less hazardous to the country than those they agreed upon.
