Description

J.A. Carnall, Procurator, [Sedgley Park School], to [the Rt Rev. William Bernard Ullathorne, Bishop of Birmingham]; believes the time has passed for making a statement to Canon Moore as he turns a 'deaf ear' to the abuses ongoing at the Park; complains that Moore will not give him any reason for his dismissal; hopes the Bishop will use his influence in preventing an expose; Carnall will send a list of his statements to him before sending them to Canon Moore in the hope that Ullathorne will take this final chance to avoid 'much scandal and ill-feeling'; requests that Ullathorne aids the Misses Vinn in obtaining financial help from the charities left by the late Miss Young of London.
