By JOHN PENN of East Harting, husbandman, eldest son and heir of Henry Penn late of East Harting, yeoman deceased, who was only brother and heir of Thomas Penn late of Harting, husbandman deceased, and WILLIAM MAGICK of Cocking, victualler, to THOMAS PLACE of Petersfield, gent., - for £10 of a piece of enclosed ground formerly called the Old Orchard and then called King's Garden containing 1 ac. 1 r., at East Harting and then rented by John Scott and bounded by East Harting Street or Lane from South Harting up the road called the Tye through East Harting to the road called the Wicks in the way to Rogate, E., and by a house and garden of Nathan Torry and rented by Henry Korn and lands of John White, esq. now rented by the said John Scott, S., W., and N
