- report on possible cars for purchase;

- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: co-operation between railway companies and civil defence services; animals in war time; leaflet Your Home as an Air Raid Shelter; reporting of air raid damage; equipment for Rescue Parties; replacement of equipment damaged by air attack; liaison between Fire Services and Air Raid Precautions Control Centres;

- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: Carrier Pigeon Service; Local Volunteer Defence Corps (Home Guard); Regional Scheme for Mutual Assistance & Reinforcement; disposal of unexploded bombs; employment of aliens in Civil Defence Service; training of Rescue Party Leaders; co-operation with RAF; operational control at air raid incidents - police; equipment for First Aid Party Depots; Women's Voluntary Services office accommodation; basement shelters in Biggleswade; construction of three wardens' Posts in Bedford; casualties among troops in billets; Wardens' reports to police - parachute landings; co-operation with military authorities;
