The Loge L'Egalite was named and established in 1785. In 1785 the lodge met at the Coach and Horses, Frith Street, Soho, London. In 1793 the lodge united with the Ancient French Lodge, No. 110, which met at the French Hotel, Leicester Fields, London. After uniting the lodges were renamed the Loge des Amis Réunis. In 1799 the Loge des Amis Réunis united with the Loge L'Espérance No. 238 and took their name. The Loge L'Espérance No. 134 made no returns after 1821 and was erased in 1830.
