Letter of introduction for Robert Griffith, whom Harley has recommended for the benefice of New Radnor. 7 April 1706

Reasons why Lord Gower should not be named Chancellor of the Duchy in the Commission. 20 May 1706

Charles Caeser, Esquire, is to be left out of the Commission of the Peace [official] 26 June 1706; Whitehall

Queen intends to have a Council at St James on the morrow, only business will be proroguing Parliament, so would be grateful if W C will send Commission to his office. 11 Sept 1706

Just come from Windsor. Queen wishes Dr Trimnel to have St James, Picadilly - matter urgent as if commendam runs out [due Oct 1st], it will be in the gift of the Bishop of London. 23 Sept 1706

Concerning St James, Picadilly, and reasons why has not spoken to W C recently. Postcript that Col Hamilton has arrived from "Allicant" to give an account of the taking of the castle there, but the Queen has not seen him yet. 26 Sept 1706

Concerning a new Great Seal, now the Union is come about. Also wishes to wait on W C, with names of young gentlemen who are now of age and may take their deceased fathers' places on the bench in Radnor. 18 Oct 1706

Is preparing a warrant for W C's barony, wishes to know what title he chooses. 1 Dec 1706

Congratulations on his honour. Report that Recorder of London is dying, and recommends Serjeant Birch, for a long time Attorney to the Crown in South Wales. 11 Dec 1706

Has heard rumour that someone is trying to remove Mr Cox from being a judge in Radnor, Brecon and Glamorgan. Assures Ld C that no-one could be more suitable. 25 April 1707

Concerning a consultation with the Lord Treasurer about judges, and the quarrelsomeness of Neve, who could be replaced by Locklington. 25 April 1707

About Lord Treasurer censuring him for preferring Dr Atterbury's petition. 12 Sept 1707

About his removal from the Commission of the Peace for Herefordshire. 2 Aug 1710

Relating to the proposal to summon the Duke of Cambridge to the House of Lords. 12 May 1714

Has been retired in his family, offers his services to Ld C if he can find a use for them. 5 Sept 1714

Concerning conclusion of arbitration in Newcastle estate case, also mentions his appointment as Warden of Sherwood Forest, and recalls to Ld C that he has been Custos Rotulorum for Radnor. 14 Oct 1714

Is commanded to see Ld C on a matter of consequence. Undated [before Dec 1706]
