Brown cloth-covered photograph album measuring 250x337mm, with title as above stamped in gold on front cover. Prints are mounted one to a page (recto only), uncaptioned, with tissue interleaving. The album contains portraits of Sir George Stanley, Governor of Madras, with the ruler of Khallikot and others at various formal and social occasions during his visit. Prints 20-23 show fishing and shooting scenes, presumably on the Chilika Lake. Prints 24-28 show groups of musicians, dancers, etc., from an unidentified tribal group. Process = Gelatine silver prints. Photographers = Press Photo Bureau, Madras;.
