Description

Collection of 31 loose albumen prints mounted on card measuring 303 x 378 mm. Each mount has the letterpress title, Darjeeling Hill Road, Public Works Department, together with individual numbered caption. The series runs from 1-30, with an additonal unnumbered print of a group of engineers. No. 23 of this set is missing. The collection shows views of the road under construction at Gyabarry and Kursiong (Karsiyang).
