2. Thomas Willan of Casterton, yeoman.
Premises: all those 10 customary beast - and cattle - gates upon all those inclosed grounds and pastures called Casterton Fell Close and Cowe Pasture in Casterton, part of inheritance of late Robert Townson of Langthwaite in Casterton, gentleman.
Consideration: £50; 10½d yearly rent for each gate.
Witnesses: Willm Garnett, Sam. Gibsonn, Joseph Baylisse, Thomas Fawcett, Joseph Booth.
Endorsement: 4
With (annexed): admittance, 2 October 1655, by Robert Harrison, steward of court baron of Roger Bateman, gentleman, held in manor of Casterton, of Thomas Willan.
Premises: [as in conveyance of same date, WD WHELP 6/T 5], of yearly rent of 8s 9d.
