Cons: marriage had between William and Elizabeth, and £60 portion (£30 paid and £30 secured to be paid).
Feoffment in a messuage and appurtenances in the township of Lonvield (Thomas Longdon) to hold to the trustees to certain uses.
Francis Plowden of Plowden 1 Dec 2 Charles (1626) demised to Thomas Longdon 1 messuage in Longveld from Ladyday 1 Charles I for 21 years.
For the more security Thomas and William assign their interest in this term to the trustees in trust; as to the first messuage, one moiety to use of William and Elizabeth for their lives and after their deaths to use of the eldest son and heirs of his body, in default to use of 2nd son and heirs, and so in succession to the youngest, in default of sons, to all daughters, or right heirs of Thomas; the other moiety to use of William and Elizabeth for life sons in succession, daughters, or heirs of Thomas; as to the 2nd messuage, in trust to allow Thomas to receive a moiety of the rents for remainder of term, and William and Eliz. the other moiety. If Elizabeth die within 3 years without issue by William, then Thomas and William will within 5 months of her death pay Charles Walle £20 and half of all goods and household stuff as William or Thomas shall have received from his as part of the portion. Thomas convenants that the capital messuage shall remain limited to these and no other uses saved from any other encumbrances except chief rent; that he has power to convey and will make further assurance within Shropshire; that the trustees may quietly enjoy the demise from Plowden without interruption and that he will make further assurance.
