Administrative / biographical background

The Egerton Lodge was named and established in 1789 and met at the Coach and Horses, High Street, Whitchurch, Shropshire. In 1793 the lodge moved to the Red Lion Inn, High Street, Whitchurch and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1801.
