Thomas Hawley late of Cause Castle Salop but now of Shrewsbury gentleman 2. John Asterley of Carreghova in the County of Denbigh gentleman Consideration 5/- paid to Hawley by Asterley

Lease for a year at a peppercorn rent

All the manor of Cause and Wallop and the castle and capital messuage called Cause Castle with their rights members and appurtenances and the messuage called Cause Farm in the parish of Westbury containing altogether by a late survey 440 acres 1 rood and 15 perches late in the possession of Thomas Hawley but now of William Thomas as described on 279/81 (map)
