Single-acting engine, with 53 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection, unequal beam. New air pump, condenser, cistern and working gear added 1798.

Also memorandum of proposed alterations, circa Nov. 1798; reverse drawings of new cistern, plan and section of new air pump and condenser, Nov. 1798; sketch of new valve brought by James Watt Jr., 22 Mar. 1806. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
