Plans (summarised in outline on 1" OS sheet) for a new road starting from another new road at Tolworth (Surrey) which by-passes Surbiton, Kingston-on-Thames and Wimbledon. It runs south towards Brighton near Epsom, Reigate, Horsham and Cowfold to join the existing Brighton to London main road between Newtimber and Pyecombe. Sussex parishes: Rusper, Horsham Rural, Horsham, Nuthurst, Lower Beeding, Cowfold, Shermanbury, Woodmancote, Twineham, Albourne, Newtimber, and Pyecombe.
