Description

Minutes to Mr Lindsay. 'Progress of Sch.3291. Tests were undertaken on the Burnley High Altitude Test Plant and after minor adjustments to the control satisfactory idling could be obtained up to 48,000 feet, but unfortunately the governor was unstable. Technical responsibility in Australia for the Viper engine was now with the RAAF.'
