- administration and organisation of Air Raid Precautions Scheme in Bedford Borough;

- functions and powers of Local Reconstruction Panels;

- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: military assistance following heavy air attack; specification of Boroughs of Bedford, Dunstable and Luton under Fire Prevention (Business Premises) Order; unexploded bombs and parachute mines; Wardens' Posts at Pavenham Vicarage and 154 High Street South, Dunstable;

- communications from Ministry of Health regarding Emergency Hospital Scheme at Silver Jubilee School, Bedford; purity of water supplies; Civil Nursing Reserve; deferment of call-up for personnel of First Aid Posts and Ambulance services; use of overseas medical practitioners; accommodation for refugees and those rendered homeless by enemy attack; power to enter and inspect potential billets; County Evacuation Store at 27 Park Road East, Bedford;
