Papers concerning Trading with the Enemy legislation in Bahrain. The file contains copies of the following regulations:. Trading with the Enemy (Specified Persons) - several amendments and revocations made during 1946; Bahrain Trading with the Enemy (Custodian) Order, 1939; Correspondence between officials at the Political Residency in the Persian Gulf and the Commonwealth Relations Office, with enclosures, is also included in the file. These letters discuss what is to be done with the enemy property held at the Eastern Bank in Bahrain following the end of the Second World War. A list of such property is included (folios 7-8).
