Part of highway, adjoining the King's highway on north east, lands of Thomas Papillon, Esq., and of heirs of Mary Downe, widow, on south, lands of heirs of Mary Downe, of Sir Henry Oxenden, baronet, of Thomas Papillon and of trustees of charity of Sir John Williams, knight, on north, and the King's highway from Elham to Lyninge on west, 384 feet long, 10 feet wide, to be stopped up as unnecessary.
Order: at Rose and Crown at Elham, 1 December 1823, with plan, (scale: about 160 ins. to mile), surveyed by John Horton, Buckland.
Pages from Kentish Gazette, 9 & 16 December 1823, and cutting from the same, 23 December 1823, containing notice of the order.
Affidavit concerning publication of notices, 10 January 1824.
