No 126026 Pte S Watson of 49 Bn gave a statement of 24/10/1918: "I, 126026 Pte S Watson, 49 Bn MGC, a POW interned at Stamm Lager Arys, Ost Preussen, certify that I actaully saw 2/Lt AH Clark killed at Mont Kemmel on April 25th 1918. 2/Lt Clark was the officer in charge of my section and I was present at the time of his death
