Minerva Lodge, No. 250 was granted its warrant on 15 September 1783 and was constituted on 8 October the same year. The Lodge met at the Masons' Arms, Chapel Lane, Hull from its constitution and at the Masonic Hall, Prince Street, Dagger Lane, Kingston upon Hull from 1802 to the present day. The Lodge was re-numbered five times during its existence. It began as No. 451 in 1783, became No. 363 in 1792, became No. 467 in 1814, became No. 311 in 1832 and No. 250 in 1863, the number under which it continues to meet.
