Shepcote Lane Rolling Mills Limited was established on 9 May 1950 by founder companies Firth-Vickers Stainless Steels Limited and Samuel Fox and Company Limited for the production of stainless steel wide strip in coil. Buildings and plant were erected at Shepcote Lane, Tinsley.
The rolling mills at Shepcote Lane closed in 2006.
