(3) pp. 257-603, Proceedings in Calcutta consequent upon Hastings' supposed resignation 20th to 28th June 1777. (4) pp. 607-784. Proceedings of Clavering and Francis 20th to 28th June 1777, with letter of 28th June to Directors explaining their action. (5) pp. 785-93, Hastings to Directors 28th Nov. 1783 in favour of Richard Joseph Sulivan, dismissed in connection with the quarrels between the Nawab of Arcot and the Madras Government.
