From 1587 onwards the sea chamberlain's accounts are not entered. At fo. 135r is a note that in 1579 several jurats refused to take their oath of office in protest against John Fagge holding office for the third successive year.
Deeds and recoveries are entered at fos. 1-7, 24v-38, 56v-57r, 96-102, 118v-120, 135v-138, 154v-156, 173-175, 188v-191, 206v-208, 223v-224, 236v-239, 251v, 262v-267r.
