Folio 688. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 10 November 1880 and sanctioning until 10 November 1881 the reappointment of Henry Bird Vincent as medical officer of Health and William Henry Nankivell as inspector of nuisances for the East Dereham Urban Sanitary District. They approve of the payment to Vincent of a salary of £25 per annum and to Nankivell of £20. They require to be notified prior to the expiration of this reappointment, of future arrangements proposed by the sanitary authority as regards these offices.
