A Map of the Parishes of Saint John the Baptist and Saint Benedict in Glastonbury in the County of Somerset 1820.
Approx. 26.6" to 1 mile O.S. sheets 52NW, SW, NE, SE.
Ink and water colour on linen backed paper.
Fields numbered, major place names given. Names of owners and occupiers given, and land use indicated. No book of reference. Land in the parish of St. Benedict coloured green.. Fence, etc., ownership indicated. Acreages given on Sedgemoor strips. Considerable amount of strip cultivation still in evidence, despite inclosures. Unfit for production see 1821(a)
