Re: Sapphire Sa.3/Sa.6 and Sa.4 in Hunter. Summary (a) Sapphire Sa.4. This engine will not go into the Hunter 50 deg sweep-back development unless the rear spar and fuselage are redesigned. There is a full report on Page 2. (b) Sapphire Sa.3 re-heat. The latest Armstrong Siddeley Motors design for the Hunter can be accommodated without difficulty. Full report on Page 2. (c)SBAC Show, 1952. It appears extremely unlikely that the Sapphire Sa.3 Hunter will be at the show
