Mr. Edward Bannister had W.P.'s corn in his barn; W.P. ordered that it was to be threshed, "wymed" (f 206r) and taken away; but Bannister refused to allow it to be moved until he had been compensated for a sow he said W.P. had killed. W.P. had a mare and struck out one of her eyes with a "Whippe stub", mare was pastured on Warblington Common (on "enter common" which lies in Sussex and Hants; believes mare was usually on Hampshire portion.
