(i) Rt. Hon. Lord James Cavendish, youngest son of Most Noble William, Duke of Devonshire, deceased, Most Noble William, Duke of Devonshire.

(ii) Anne Yale one of the daughters of Elihu Yale of parish of St. Peters Poor in London, esquire.

(iii) Elihu Yale, Sir Stephen Evans of parish of St. Edmund the King, London, Kt., Dudley North of parish of St. Andrew, Holborn, esquire.

Forthcoming marriage between Lord James Cavendish and Anne Yale. Marriage portion of £6000 and £2000 in jewels pd. to (i) by Elihu Yale, Anne Yale to have jointure of £800.

Appointment to Anne Yale of property in Iselhampstead Latimers, Amersham, Chalfont St. Peter, Chalfont St. Giles, Chenies, Chesham Bois, Iver, Flaunden, Chesham, Chesham Higham, Chesham Bury, Great Chesham, Asheridge, Chartridge, Ley Green, Whelpley Hill, Weedon Hill, Rothway, Ashley Green, Bellingdon, Waterside, Rothley, Ley Hill, Hundridge, Cholesbury, Dundridge, co. Bucks and co. Hertford £250 p.a. rent).

Assignment (i to iii) of sum of £5000. Lord James Cavendish to take interest for life. (iii) to hold sum as indemnity for quiet enjoyment by Anne Yale of above lands discharged from sum of £12000 and maintenance sum of £300 p.a. secured by Release for benefit of daughter of Lord Henry Cavendish.
