The Trust was set up in 1928 in memory of Mr. Hubert Leslie who was deeply involved with choral singing in Shropshire and Montgomeryshire. Funds from the trust were used to support many choirs through the Shropshire Association of Musical Societies and the North Montgomeryshire Musical Association. The trust ceased its activities in 1988.
