412. William Haig, Kincaple (NN). Mar. 1809. 4 items.
24 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 25¼ inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.

Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boilers - the longitudinal section has a governor added in. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.

Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 602. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 76.

For William Haig. Distillery, Kincaple, near Cupar, Scotland. This engine was virtually identical to Stein & Brown's [see Portfolio 5/411].
