[Recites: (A) Conveyance, dated 2 Mar. 1859: (i) Robert Thomas Day; (ii) Isaac Buckrell Hayward; and (iii) the London and S. W. Rlwy.Coy: in consideration of £250:

certain pieces of land at Hewish cont. 1 ac. 2r. 6p., authorised to be taken by the Coy. under the London and South Western Exeter Extension Act, 1856;

(B) That sd. R. T. Day agrees to relinquish all right of re-purchase of all property not eventually required;

(C) That the parcel described below was not required;

(D) That the Company have acquired from Richard Battiscombe 3 ac. 5p. in Crewkerne in return for £479, the provision of certain accommodation works [shown] and an agreement that the Company should convey the parcel described below to R. B.;

(E) Conveyance of even date with this Indenture by which R. B. conveyed his property as in (D) to the Coy.].

Parcel of land at Hewish cont. 2r. 28p., part of land No. DD/BC/72 in the plan and book of reference of the Company deposited with the clerk of the peace in Nov. 1855; (shown on a plan in the margin of this Indenture).
