Photograph album containing 55 snapshots relating to Barbara Peile's medical work in Bihar: views of hospital buildings, patients and staff, local events, etc. Included with this collection is a bundle of letters sent by Barbara Peile to her friend Susan Cockayne between 1968 and 1969. Barbara Peile (d. 2007) was the daughter of Sir James Braithwaite Peile (1833-1906), Bombay Civil Service and Louisa, Lady Peile (see Mss Eur E214 and Mss Eur A224).
