Born Beech Hill, Cork 22/6/1897. Educ Stoneyhurst Coll. Gazetted 2Lt 28/9/14, Lt 1/6/15. App. Musketry Instr. & later Transp Officer. In July 1916 transf with his transport Coy to MGC and on 30/4/17 posted to Cav MGC. Served BEF F&F from Sept 1917 and KIA Bourlon Wood 25 Nov following. Buried west of sugar factory nr. Graincourt. Unmarried.
