St. Peter's Lodge, No. 446 was granted a warrant in 1769 and was named in 1791. The lodge met at a number of London taverns throughout its working life, and these were as follows. The Horns, Gutter Lane, Cheapside from 1769, Three Johns, Tooley Street, Southwark from 1771, Two Giants, Church Street, Southwark from 1774, Cross Keys, Shad Thames from 1791, King's Head, Walworth Road, Walworth from 1793, Rockingham Arms Inn, Newington Butts from 1805 and finally the White Horse Inn, Friday Street, Cheapside from 1817. The lodge also underwent several re-numerations throughout its existence. These were as follows: No. 449 in 1755, 384 in 1770, 297 in 1780, 298 in 1781, 249 in 1792 and 316 in 1814. The last return for the lodge is dated 1814, when the Lodge was noted as meeting at private rooms, at Bro W Finch's, 5 Charlotte Place, New Cut, Lower Marsh, Lambeth (W Finch, List of Lodges, 1814) but the lodge was officially erased on 3 March 1830.
