A visitation charge delivered to the clergy of the diocese of Worcester by John Hough (1651-1743), Bishop of Worcester, in May 1731. At f. 1r. is a title in the same hand as the text: 'A copy of the charge to my brethren in my last visitation May 1731. Printed from a manuscript sent by him to Mr. John Lewis Minister of Meregate 1739'. This refers to John Lewis (1675-1747), antiquary and Vicar of Margate, Kent. Included are notes apparently intended for a printer.
