SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION:

Premises as cat. no. Blake/V/2.

Recites will of James Quartermaine of Enshame of 2 Jan. 1702 in which he devised to 1. moiety of Wrothy Meade after d. of Margery his wife - to him and his heirs for everupon condition that if 1. died before his wife Mary Quartermaine then Mary Quartermaine should enjoy the said moiety of the meadow for her life as long as she should remain a widow

Recites that Mary Quartermaine has joined with 1. in the sale of the premises and with 1. has levied a fine. In consideration of the said fine for selling the houses etc. (as these premises) granted in lieu of and recompense of the premises so sold and in consideration of 5/- paid by 2. to 1a. 1. releases the premises to 2. upon trusts - to the use of 1. for his life and then to the use of the said Mary Quartermaine (wife of 1.) for her life and then to the use of 2. for term of 99 yrs. upon trusts and then to the use of William Quartermaine the younger (son of 1.) his heirs and assigns for ever. Term of 99 yrs. granted to 2. so that 2. may raise from the premises £200 for Mary, dau. of 1. for her portion and that then the said term shall cease
