Faithful Lodge was granted a warrant by the Moderns' or premier Grand Lodge on 23 April 1792 to meet as No. 499 in Bideford, Devon. The Lodge was consecrated on 23 May 1792. By 1801 the Lodge met at the Newfoundland Inn, Quay, Bideford. After the union between the Moderns' and Antients' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England, the Lodge was renumbered as No. 535. The Lodge was erased in 1823.
