Description (What the record is about)
-
Lever Brothers Limited Memorandum between Mr McLean, Port Sunlight and Mr L.V. Fildes, Lever House discussing Mr N.K. Smith's Co-Partnership. Mr McLean confirms that Mr Ferguson does not recall, in detail, the interview he had with Mr Smith regarding his Co-Partnership. Mr Ferguson believes that the payment made was intended to cover Mr Smith's interest in the Co-Partnership Trust and that the receipt signed was a forfeit of any claims. Mr McLean confirms that Mr Ferguson will discuss the matter with Mr Fildes in person during a visit to London. Mr Fildes, following discussions with Mr Ferguson and discussions with the Chairman, confirms that a Preferential Certificate should be issued to Mr N.K.
