Appeal by George Webbe[?r] against accounts of John Bellhouse and John Ragland, churchwardens, and John McDowell and James Dunstone, overseers of poor, for Falmouth, verified before mayor John Carne, esq. 21 Nov. last, G.W. claiming that various sums of money had been paid out illegally: ordered that £12. 10s. 0d. charged by J.D. on 23 Aug. last for half-years' salary for his attendance on the poor from 2 Dec. 1797 until 2 June 1798 be disallowed. J.B., J.R., J.McD., and J.D. to pay G.W. £1. 6s. 8d. costs.
