Folio 707. Letter from James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Government District Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board. He refers to his letter of 15 November 1880, which inform the Board, that at a meeting on 10 November 1880, the Local Board had reappointed Henry Bird Vincent as medical officer. This letter appears to have crossed in the post with the one received that day from the Board, as it would appear that they are unaware of the reappointment. He confirms that notice of intention to reappoint Vincent as medical officer was duly given and the preceding meeting of the Local Board. He writes to enquire if the reappointment will be accepted, sanctioned and confirmed by the Board.
