The early 16th-century rentals record three tenements in Monkgate belonging to the Hospital (Sellers, 132). Part of this property, adjoining le Jubirycroft, appears to have been acquired at the very end of the 14th century after a dispute with Nicholas de Skelton (see nos. 12-14) and a further messuage was given by Thomas Tubbac in 1477 (no. 28; see also Cartulary, fo. 143v).
