Housed in the former offices of Benskins Brewery the museum has a varied range of permanent and temporary exhibitions on Watford's past, including an art collection, displays relating to the local printing and brewing industries and a tribute to the town's own football club. Records held include the business records of Odhams Printers, Sun Engravers and Scammels Brewers, sale particulars and deeds include the Pidcock archive containing documents concerning the Court Baron of Cassio manor 17th-19th century, papers and diaries of Watford families, civil defence records, Watford Football Club papers and a large collection of photographs and printed ephemera related to Watford people, places and events.
