Two plans (tracing cloth) detailing railway notices placed by Dorman Long. Each 'notice' is marked on the plans with an annotation detailing the dates of the notice, and in some cases the termination date. The notices were required if the Company wished to mine under the railway lines as part of the procedure stipulated by the Mines (Working Facilities and Support) Act 1923.
