No [Number] 1: 'Sheet containing Augmented Scales of those Banks, Shoals, Pits discovered by Captn [Captain] Martin White during the Survey of the English and Irish Channels, and named by him after and in honour of those Friends who first selected him for the important Investigation and who have subsequently been pleased to patronize and support him so handsomely and so liberally thro [through] it’. 11 insets: 1) 'Melville Pit'. Annotated (in red crayon): '(Part of Hurds Deep or Dyke)'; 2) 'Cockburn Knowl'; 3) 'Shamroc Knowl'. North point (orientation to west) with compass indicator; 4) 'Admiralty Patch'; 5) 'Bass Pit'; 6) 'Hurds Dyke'; 7) 'Melville Knowl'; 8) 'Haddock Bank'.
